Who we are

Bristol Make Poverty History is one of many local MPH groups across the UK. We’re a coalition of local groups and individuals. At a national level, MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY brings together a wide cross section of over 450 charities, campaigns, trade unions, faith groups and celebrities.

And the key thing is that Make Poverty History is just the UK strand of a truly worldwide effort involving countries from every continent. This is the Global Call to Action Against Poverty. In 2005 we're all coming together at key times to take action to end poverty, in a way that world leaders can’t ignore.
